Storm Damage

Hail and high winds whipped through Cedar County late Monday afternoon and early evening knocking down buildings, bills, trees and some power lines. Ping pong ball sized hail was reported in the Hartington area. The storm hit quickly and left the area just as fast. More storms were predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, (right) This Belden area bill was knocked over by the high winds, while the storm also destroyed (above) a building on Mitchell Sudbeck’s property north of Hartington.
