NORFOLK — The Northeast Nebraska Marine Corps Association is embarking on the 250th year of the United States Marine Corps and the public is invited to joint the celebration. NENMCA will be hosting a birthday party at Norfolk Nov. 7.
Funds will continue to be raised through silent and live auction items at the event. Should you have any item(s) to donate to this cause, they would certainly be accepted. Just let us know. There is also a traveling USMC clock that a lucky Marine will be able to cherish for a year and bring it back to the next celebration.
At this time, the committee wants to get started on the number of attendees to ensure we are well prepared. Please contact Chairman Bud at [email protected] to let us know you have every intention to be at the 250th birthday party. Please provide your name, number in your party, mailing address, phone number and an email address. Invitations will be going out in early October to confirm your attendance.
Your Association officers include Chairman Robert “Bud” Neel, Wayne; Vice Chairman Steve Haselhorst, Pierce; and Secretary/Treasurer Ronald Albin, Norfolk. The association is here to ensure the celebration is all we hope it to be. There are no membership dues for the Association.
