RANDOLPH — First State Bank celebrated its 90th year of service to the Randolph community on May 29 with a day-long open house.
Bank President Mark Linville shared that the bank’s success can be attributed to upholding quality customer service.
“People are what make a bank a bank. Every bank has money, but not every bank has our employees, and that is what makes the difference,” said Linville.
A small-town mentality has led to generations of support for the 90-yearold bank.
“We have customers that have been customers for generations, and without those people, we wouldn’t be here,” Linville said. “We are thankful for those people, and we try to take good care of those people.”
The Randolph community has also benefited from the bank. The FSB continues to give back to the community through the Downtown Betterment Revolving Loan Fund and by providing aid to community projects.
“We are just proud to be part of the Randolph community…we would like to be part of the Randolph community for another 90 years, and plan to do that,” said Linville. “We are in a vibrant, thriving community, and we are just glad to be a part of it.”
