Laurel honored those who served in the U.S. military with Memorial Day programs Monday. A short service consisting of a prayer, laying of the wreath to honor the unknown soldier, traditional “roll call” of deceased servicemen and women, a salute to fallen servicemen, and the playing of Taps.
