Woman reports her fiancee struck her and she is hiding from him in her car.

Woman reports damage to a camper.

April 12: 

Man reports seeing a mountain lion near Highway 81 and 12.

911 call comes in to the report of a hay pile on fire in rural Hartington.

Probation office informs of drug testing.

Funeral home asks about signature on cremation permit.

Man requests a vehicle inspection.

Caller makes loud music complaint against neighbor.

Man calls 911 and asks for tiger balm, says he is at the pharmacy in Laurel but it isn’t open. Caller hangs up and dispatcher can’t reach him upon call back. Officer will check around the area of the pharmacy.

Ditch fire reported north of Fordyce. A call comes in a short time later to the report the fire may be potential arson, witness reports seeing people dump trash out of vehicle into ditch and starting it on fire.

Man reports a boat running an outboard motor on Lake Yankton.

Officers conduct traffic enforcement and give citations.

Woman asks for a welfare check on child, alleges parents are doing drugs and have drug paraphernalia openly at the home in Laurel.

Man reports calf out on Highway 121.

Clay County, S.D., requests information.

911 call comes in to report an intoxicated individual.

Man reports crashing into a parked vehicle at the Tailwaters Campground.

Woman reports family member writing “return to sender” on mail received at a property she doesn’t live at, asks if that is legal. Dispatcher said if she doesn’t live at the address then she needs to fill out a form at the post office.

Yankton, S.D., hospital calls regarding a dog bite.

Fire reported at Crofton Dup.

Officer reports highway overhead light out near South Yankton business.

April 14: 

Fire reported near Bow Valley.

Man reports protection order violation but admitted to calling the person as well.

Ambulance called to Coleridge residence for man with medical issue, transported to Yankton, S.D., hospital.

Woman reports damage to fence at Laurel property.

Calves reported out north of Highway 84.

Woman reports parked vehicle struck by another vehicle.

Officers conduct traffic enforcement and give citations and warnings.

Man asks about vehicle inspection.

Man asks about removing vehicle from property.

Woman reports protection order violation and dispatcher says there isn’t one in place.

Man reports suspicious vehicle with fogged windows and trash bag sitting on top of it. Officer finds couple in the car who states they are homeless, milk jug reportedly on top of car.

April 15: 

Cows reported out west of Obert.
