WYNOT - The Wynot chapter of National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society inducted new members April 22 for the 2024-2025 school year. This year, 12 new members were inducted into the high school chapter. This included four juniors, Addy Fix, Emersyn Guenther, Kenna Oligmueller, Haley Wieseler; and eight sophomores, Braylon Hans, Kiera Heimes, Lane Heimes, Nixen Heimes, Cash Lenzen, Brianna Pinkelman, Taylor Pinkelman and Tiara Sudbeck.
These inductees needed to reach a minimum GPA requirement (3.25), turn in an application, and be voted in by the NHS Selection Committee. They joined current members, seniors, Joslyn Hochstein, Eliza Lange, Addison Pinkelman, and Kallie Steffen; and juniors, Carter Hans, Justin Heimes, and Kotner Koch.
The National Junior Society had three new members inducted including, seventh graders Charlotte Goeden, Bryar Hans and Layla Lenzen. The criteria for being inducted into this group was having good grades (all A's and two B's), turning in an application, and being voted in by the selection committee. They joined current members eighth grade students, Kiersten Hans, Maleah Heimes and Jacy Nelson.
