“We finished off a busy week with a really good day in Pierce, ” said Wildcat co-coach, Mike Johnson. “We shot our low 9-hole score of the season and also had our low 18-hole score for the season.”

Carter Kelly missed out on a medal by one shot after coming in with an 88, Barrett Bruning added a 93, Austin Sudbeck was at 94 and Grady Lammers shot a 103.

In their home invitational, the ‘Cats ended up seventh in the team race after hitting the clubhouse with a 365.

Gratzfeld again paced the Wildcats with an 82 which put him in eighth, Carter Kelly used an 84 to place 13th.

Sudbeck was next with a 98, Bruning shot a 101 and Lammers recorded a 122.

“We still need to get more consistent from 150 yards and in and we still need to improve our putting,” Johnson said. “If we can become more consistent and become better around the greens this team has a chance to be very competitive the rest of the season.”
