OSMOND - Randolph teed off in the Osmond Invitational Golf Tournament at Rolling Hills Country Club near here on April 26 and the Cardinals fired a team total of 378 which was good enough for eighth in the team race.
Shaw Backer posted the low round for the Cards with an 84 which earned him the 10thplace medal.
Ponca took the team title with a 338 as a team over 18 holes, Wausa was second with a 345 and Stuart was third at 353.
Toby Heine from Cedar Catholic won a playoff over Landon Uthof to grab the individual title after both players finished at 79.
Ryan Engel carded a 94 for Randolph, Bentley Reimers was next with a 96, Tate Broderson finished at 104 and Logan Lienemann came in with a 108.
Randolph was set to host a triangular on April 29 before heading up for the Hartington-Newcastle Invitational on April 30.
The Redbirds will head to Pierce for an invite on May 3 before heading to Covington Links Golf Course in South Sioux City for the Lewis & Clark Conference meet hosted by Homer on May 5.
