Reifenrath won the 200, Baller was second in the 100 and fifth in the 200, and Hochstein was second in the 400 and third in the 100.

Alex Elks had a good meet with a season’s best, 4:55.60 in the 1,600 which placed him sixth and an 11:02.32 in the 3,200 for fifth place.

“We are getting consistent performances out of our distance crew,” said Kalin. “They keep improving on the year.”

Jared Rutar and Graham Potts continue to score points in the throws.

Potts was third in the discus and Rutar was fifth in the shot put.

Anisten Wortmann and Lauren Bernecker led the Lady Trojans in the Tom Martin.

Wortmann won the 100-meter hurdles in 15.37 seconds and Bernecker was third in the 400 while her sister Brynn, also placed third in the 200.

Two of the Lady Trojan relays got in the medals at the meet.

The 3,200 quartet of the Bernecker sisters, Kally Becker and Madison Eickhoff placed second with a time of 10: 34.98 and the 1,600-meter squad of the same four Lady Trojans took third in that event.

Claire Rolfes placed sixth in the 800 and just missed a medal in the 1,600.

“I really like the way we are improving as the season winds down,” said Kalin. “I really think both teams can compete for a district title.”

Some of the Cedar track athletes will compete in the Nor folk Classic on May 1 with the Mid-State Conference Meet set for May 3 in O’Neill.
