Round up for Reading

The recent Round up for Reading event was a hit at the Hartington Public Library. Area children ages Preschool-second grade came dressed up and ready to listen to the book “Rodeo Red,” and then traveled to the cowboy-themed stations throughout the library, due to the creative talents of the Friends of the Library group, Traci Baller, Miranda Becker, Jane Sayler, Kayla Mann, Becky McGregor, Kara Lammers, Laura Neuhalfen and Laci Kramer. Cooper and Chase Sees (upper left) stopped by the photo booth, as did (lower right) Quinn Neuhalfen, Rylee Mann and Hayes Neuhalfen. Some kids played Toss the Cow Pie (l), and Hayden Lauer and Mabel Gubbels (top right) try out the steer roping.
