Cedar Catholic will send two to State

HARTINGTON — The Cedar Catholic Speech Team earned a 5th place team finish with 72 points at the NSAA District C2-3 competition at Hartington-Newcastle Public Schools Friday.

Trojan speaker Landon Rutar punched his ticket to state with a runner-up finish in Humorous. Isabel Rolfes finished third in Persuasive en route to a state berth.

Also earning medals were: Breah Steffen—4th — Persuasive Ava Stewart—5th — Informative Landon Rutar—5th — Program of Oral Interpretation
