Going for the gold

Fans cheered as the Wynot Blue Devil boys basketball team marched through the Class D2 State Tournament last week. The Devils picked up two wins to earn a spot in Saturday night's State title game against O'Neill St. Mary's. That game did not go the way the fans would have hoped, and the Blue Devils had to settle for State runner-up honors. Coach Lee Heimes presented medals to his team after the conclusion of the contest.
