WYNOT — The Wynot Lady Blue Devils hosted the Homer Lady Knights on Tuesday night and the visitors earned a big 72- 36 win.
The Lady Knights kept their perfect record intact as they moved to 5-0 while the Lady Blue Devils fell to 3-2 with the loss.
The Lady Knights broke open the game going on a big 22-4 third quarter run as they coasted to the victory.
Homer was led by a trio of doublefigure scorers led by Alexandria Albrecht who hit four three-pointers on her way to a game-high 20 points.
Lilly Harris had a solid game finishing with 15 points and Kylie Harris chipped in with a trio of three pointers and just missed double figures with 9 points for the visitors.
Wynot got 15 points from Kenna Oligmueller and nine points from Haley Wieseler to pace the Lady Devils.
In the opening quarter Wynot got a pair of baskets each from Kenna Oligmueller and Haley Wieseler.
Homer countered with four points from Lilly Harris and a three pointer from Alexandria Albrecht as they earned the 13-8 lead at the end of the first period.
In the second quarter the Harris girls continued to lead the offense.
Lilly hit two more treys and Kylie also connected from long range.
Wynot would stay within range thanks to four more points from Oligmueller, a three-pointer by Eliza Lange and baskets from Sophia Geisen and Kiera Heimes. Wynot would still trail 26-19 at halftime, though.
The third quarter was the Blue Devils demise as the Knights exploded on a 22-4 run.
Alexandria Albrecht lead the charge knocking down a trio of three-pointers on her way to 13 points. Kylie Harris also hit her third three of the night and Lilly Harris had a pair of driving layins as Homer was up by a 48-23 margin going into the final quarter.
In the fourth the two teams would exchange baskets the rest of the game. Wynot got a pair of put backs by Kenna Oligmueller and a basket plus one by Taylor Pinkelman. The Lady Knights would get four more points from Albrecht and a three pointer by Tori Walker as Homer rolled to the 62-36 win.
