LCC students, staff take part in community clean up

LAUREL — On Oct. 23, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School students and staff took part in the annual LCC Community Day.

They dedicated their afternoon to helping to improve the communities of Laurel, Concord, and Dixon.

In teams, they worked on picking up trash and leaves to help beautify the parks and neighborhoods.

This hands-on involvement in community clean-up and volunteer service does more than enhance the surroundings—it also fosters a deep sense of responsibility, empathy, and commitment to positive community impact among the students, student officals say.

Through their efforts, they gain valuable opportunities for personal growth and character development.

Meanwhile, LCC Middle School students extended their support to the village of Coleridge, lending a helping hand to improve their community, as well.
