Cedar County voters tie record for turn-out

HARTINGTON — A whopping 87 percent of Cedar County voters decided to cast ballots for this week's General Election.

Cedar County Clerk Jessica Schmit said 87 percent of the county's registered voters cast ballots for Tuesday's election.

That ties the mark set in the 2020 presidential election.

Only 51 percent of the county's voters cast ballots in this year's Primary Election.
