School receives grant

LINCOLN – EducationQuest Foundation has awarded 78 Nebraska schools with Eigth-Grade Campus Visit Grants totaling nearly $50,000.

Schools, including Randolph Public Schools, will use grants of up to $1,350 to help fund college visits and related activities to help students prepare for college.

The 8th-Grade Campus Visit Grants, awarded annually, are one of several programs Education-Quest provides to fulfill its mission of improving access to higher education in Nebraska.

Since the program’s inception in 2011, EducationQuest has awarded more than $430,000 in 8th-Grade Campus Visit Grant funding to 249 Nebraska schools.

Along with Randolph Public Schools, 78 other schools statewide received grants including one other area school: Laurel-Concord- Coleridge Schools.
