Wildcat JV team picks up come-from-behind win

HARTINGTON — The Hartington-Newcastle JV football team showed tremendous resilience, rallying from an 18-0 deficit to secure a 28-24 victory Sept. 23 against Wausa.

Battling through adversity, the team never gave up and clawed their way back into the game, said Coach Dylan Behnk.

“Ty Opfer played a crucial role in the comeback, showcasing great hands with multiple key receptions that helped propel the offense,” he said.

On defense, Kyptin Collier was a standout on the line, relentlessly pursuing the ball and finishing tackles with authority. It was a gritty team effort that highlighted their determination and will to win.
