Rummaging for a cause

Gloria and Dwight Brummels (above), Randolph, look through kitchen items for sale Friday afternoon during the annual rummage sale to benefit the Lied Randolph Public Library. The Randolph City Auditorium (below) was filled to the brim with items for sale as well as potential buyers. The sale held over the weekend netted more than $4,000, which will help fund children’s programming at the library. The event is supported by community members who donate items for the sale each year and by Thrivent, which provides a grant to help promote the event.
