Work will begin on Hwy. 84 east of Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD — Weather permitting, work will resume the week of April 8 on Highway 84 at the Hwy. 81-84 junction.

Western Engineering Company Inc. of Iowa has the contract. Work will include asphalt overlay, guardrail work, concrete island, bridge nosing, concrete patching and seeding. Traffic will be restricted to one lane and maintained with flaggers.

Anticipated completion is early summer 2024.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up and to put phones down.
