Eickhoff represents Cedar County in State archery competition

GRAND ISLAND — 4-H youth throughout the state of Nebraska came to Grand Island Jan. 27 to exhibit their archery shooting skills during the 2024 Nebraska State 4-H Indoor Archery Championships.

Youth participated in the age division of Cub (ages 8-11), Youth (ages 12-14) or Young Adult (ages 15-17) in the styles of Barebow (BB), Bowhunter Freestyle (BHFS), Freestyle (FS) or Freestyle Limited (FSL).

Nate Eickhoff, son of John and Cheri Eickhoff, Fordyce, represented the Cedar County 4-H Sharp Shooters at the State archery competition in the Cub age division. Eickhoff placed sixth out of 36 participants in the Bowhunter Freestyle class with a score of 281.
