Wynot girls take down Cougars

NIOBRARA— The Wynot Lady Blue Devils built a 20-point advantage over the first three quarters and withstand a late rally to pick up a 57-44 win over Niobrara-Verdigre Monday.

The Lady Devils used a full court pressure defense and the long ball to down the Lady Cougars.

Wynot hit nine three-pointers and forced Niobrara Verdigre into 20 turnovers in the game.

Myrah Sudbeck led the Lady Blue Devils attack hitting 4 times from behind the arc to take scoring honors for the game with 20 points. Allison Wieseler added a trio of three pointers to garner 11 points and Kinslee Heimes also hit for double figures with 10.

Niobrara-Verdigre got a stellar game from Josilyn Miller connecting for 19 points for the Lady Cougars.
