Dennis Lammers BLAIR – Dennis Edward Lammers was born in rural Cedar County West of Hartington, Oct. 30, 1934, to Alfred A. and Pauline (Arens) Lammers. He died Nov. 12, 2023, at Crowell Memorial Home, Blair.

Dennis Lammers BLAIR — Dennis Edward Lammers was born in rural Cedar County West of Hartington, Oct. 30, 1934, to Alfred A. and Pauline (Arens) Lammers. He died Nov. 12, 2023, at Crowell Memorial Home, Blair.

Mass of Christan Burial will be Nov. 18, at 10 a.m., at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair.

Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Blair.

Visitation will be Nov. 17, from 6-8 p.m., at Campbell Aman Funeral Home, Blair, with a vigil beginning at 7 p.m.

Dennis attended grade school at country school and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1952. He farmed west of Hartington and had a herd of stock cows.

He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters of Fordyce. He was also a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair.

Dennis married Rita Lorentzen Feb. 20, 1971, at Holy Trintiy Catholic Church, Hartington. The couple had one son, Brett Lammers.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Rita; two grandchildren, Grant and Sloan Lammers; sisters, Jolene (William) Johnson and Janice (Arlyn) Berg; sister-in-law, Jeanette Lammers; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Lammers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brett; brothers, Melvin and Rodney; brother-in-law, William Johnson; and sister-in-law, Janice Crandall.
