Runners cross season finish line

PENDER – The Randolph boys cross country team competed at the D-2 district meet at Pender Oct. 11, finishing the season with some running their best times of the year.

PENDER – The Randolph boys cross country team competed at the D-2 district meet at Pender Oct. 11, finishing the season with some running their best times of the year.

Justin Guenther finished in 19:46 for 28th place; Matthew Schultz, 20:46, for 45th place; Hunter McGhee, 21:33, for 55th place; Brayden Shearer, 21:55, for 63rd place; and Jake Harder, 26:24, for 78th place.

In the team standings, Randolph finished in 13th place.

Coach Tom Shafer expressed gratitude for the parents and other supporters throughout the successful season, especially those who brought snacks after each meet.
