SubDistrict seeds announced

SubDistrict seeds announced

LINCOLN - The seeding for next week's SubDistrict girls basketball tournaments was released Thursday by the Nebraska School Activities Association.

Cedar Catholic earned the top seed in SubDistrict D1-4 and will host the two-day tournament at the Msgr. Werner Activity Center.

Cedar will take on fourth-seeded Bloomfield at 6 p.m. Feb. 14. Norfolk Catholic and Wausa will tangle in the nightcap with the winners advancing to Thursday night's championship game.

'Wynot and Hartington -Newcastle are both on the road in their SubDistrict tournaments.

 Wynot is the second seed in D2-4 and wii take on Howells-Dodge. That game will be played at Humphrey St. Francis, which is the top seed in that SubDistrict.

 

Hartington-Newcastle will travel to Crofton in SubDistrict C2-5.  The Lady Cats are the third seed and must play state-rated Ponca in their Feb. 14 contest.  Top-seed Crofton takes on Osmond-Randolph in the nightcap.
