HARTINGTON—One man went to the hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, when the home he was residing in was destroyed in a Sunday night blaze west of here. Darrell Zimmerman was treated at Sacred Heart Hospital and later released.

That is the question that will be answered March 28, when the Friends of the Library and the Cedar County Theatre collaborate on a fundraiser through an audience participation murder mystery dinner theatre.

“Murder At The Mardi Gras” will be held at the Hartington Country Club March 28.

HARTINGTON — The Hartington School Board voted last week to renovate the school’s 36-year-old gymnasium.

The Hartington School Board decided at a Feb. 10 special meeting to use Prochaska and Associates out of Omaha as the Architects for the gym renovation project at the school.
