COLERIDGE — Fifty-five members attended the Coleridge High School alumni banquet Friday at the Grand Hotel in honor of the 1908 graduates. Following a dinner, a short program was held, followed by election of officers.

HARTINGTON — Notices calling for bids for construction of Hartington’s new school house are now being sought. The bids are to be opened July 8, and soon after it is expected that construction will commence on the new structure. It is hoped to have the building completed early in 1914 June 12, 1913

HARTINGTON — Lloyd Lynde, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Lynde, Hartington, and Miss Lillian Hammill, Ponca, were united in marriage.

HARTINGTON — Some excitement was caused at the Chautauqua when a large gasoline lamp burned through the rope by which it was supported and fell, striking Harold Scoville on the arm and injuring him quite badly.

HARTINGTON — W. S. Weston tendered his resignation as president of First National Bank, Hartington, and will leave soon for Omaha where he has been elected vice president of the Peters Trust Company.

HARTINGTON — Mino Jurgens, Coleridge, and Peter Hailey, Magnet, both drove into creeks due to the bridges being washed out by torrential rains.
