Thompson, freshman quarterback lead Bears

OAKLAND — A freshman quarterback and a veteran running back helped Laurel-Concord-Coleridge turn a close game into a runaway win. Alex Kvols threw three TD passes in his first start filling in for injured quarterback Paxton Hoeppner, while senior Tanner Thompson rushed for 214 yards and four TDs to power the Bears past Oakland-Craig 68-28.
