NASB recognizes RPS school board with 2026 Board of Excellence Award

The Randolph Public Schools Board of Education was one of 15 school boards across Nebraska to receive a 2026 Board of Excellence Award from the Nebraska Association of School Boards. The boards were recognized during nine area meetings held throughout August and September. Pictured above, from left, are board secretary Lucas Miller, Anson Dockhorn, President Sandy Owens, Chris Winkelbauer and Paul Schmit. Not pictured is Vice President Cody Backer. The award recognizes school boards for continued participation in board development and their commitment to effective governance, legislative advocacy and stewardship of district resources in support of student achievement.
