MENNO, S.D. — Wynot used a five-run first inning to springboard to a 17-7 final score over the Menno Mad Frogs on the road June 18.
The Expos added a couple of runs in the second, single runs in the third and fourth then tacked on six in the top of the seventh to go up 15-3, but the Mad Frogs plated three runs in the bottom of the frame to extend the game.
Wynot added two in the top of the eighth and held Menno to a single run in the bottom of inning to close out the game by the 10-run rule.
Jesse Lundahl had a solid performance on the mound tossing seven innings while scattering eight hits and six runs.
He also struck out 11 Mad Frogs in the contest.
Jalen Wieseler was 4-for-4 at the plate including a home run, scored three times and drove in four runs. Lundahl and Landon Wieseler were both 3-for-5 with Wieseler scoring three times and Lundahl twice.
Lee Heimes was 2-for-5 at the dish and scored four times.
Jackson Sudbeck and Devon Lammers also smacked long balls for the Expos in the contest.
Wynot was rained out June 21 from a home date with Crofton and will host Yankton June 25 before hosting the Freeman Black Sox on June 28.
