Hartington Dolphins hit the pool…finally

HARTINGTON — The Hartington Dolphins swim team hit the pool for the first time this season June 18 at the Wayne Invitational which was rescheduled due to inclement weather from the week before.

The Dolphins won the meet with 599 points, the Wayne Dolphins finishing second with 574. The Dodge Sea Monkeys were third with 212 and West Point was fourth with 80.

Individual results from the meet will be available in next week’s Cedar County News.

Hartington will be back in action June 29 back at Wayne before traveling to Blair July 1.

July 7 the Dolphins will travel to West Point with the conference meet set for July 18 at Wayne.

Hartington will not host a meet this summer due to the condition of the starting blocks.
