Laurel wrapped up their rec season at the league tournament with a strong showing on the diamond. The Bears opened play Friday with a 5-0 win over Wynot, before falling short to Hartington Black, 8-9. After battling through rain delays on Saturday, they beat Crofton 2, 5-0, and Crofton 1, 3-0. The Bears claimed victory in a thrilling 5-2 win over Hartington Black in the Championship game. This team showed tremendous growth, effort and determination all season long.
