Skating through life

Brooks Lackas, 5, tries out the skateboard he received for his birthday while under the watchful eye of his father, T.J., at the Randolph park Sunday afternoon. T.J. said he had no idea where Brooks came up with the idea of wanting a skateboard, but he also had a surfboard on his wish list. The family spent the afternoon in the park, along with mom, Laurel, and Brooks’ siblings.
