Courtesy Photos for the Laurel Advocate Building Blocks held a color run fundraiser last week. As soon as the race began, the rain stopped and the fun began. Organizers said they would like to extend a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to all the donors, families, Parent Committee members, staff, volunteers and community members who helped make this event possible. The support, generosity and hard work made the first fundraiser one to remember. Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership, the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department and the Laurel Police Department all partnered with Building Blocks to help provide car seats and safety checks during the event.
