Hartington to host two blood drives

HARTINGTON — There will be two community blood drives in Hartington during the month of June.

Kaley Lammers, and Autumn Kathol, students at Cedar Catholic High School will be hosting the Lifeserve Community Blood Drive 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., June 11, at the Msgr. Werner Activity Center.

By hosting this event, the girls’ names will be entered into a drawing for a scholarship to help with college expenses.

The second blood drive will be 12:30-6 p.m., June 11, at the Hartington VFW.

For both events, walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged by calling 800.287.4903, or visit www.lifeservebloodcenter.org.
