RANDOLPH - Commencement exercises for 16 seniors of St. Frances High School will be held Sunday evening at St. Frances Church. Bernice Spader is valedictorian and Dolores Meyer is salutatorian.

RANDOLPH -Leon Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Scott was initiated into Omega Chapter of Epsilon Pi Tau, National Honorary professional fraternity in the fields of industrial arts education and vocational education.
He is a senior at Wayne State Teacher’s College.

RANDOLPH -Two Randolph youths, Earl Meyer and Joe Otterpohl, left this week for induction into the army. Earl, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Meyer, has been farming near here, and Joe, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Otterpohl, has been employed at Randolph.

RANDOLPH - Two young Randolph men, Gene Whalen and Damian Haselhorst were inducted into army service with the Cedar County draft contingent for May on Tuesday.
Both graduated from St. Frances High School and have since been farming. Gene is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.T. Whalen and Damian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Haselhorst.

RANDOLPH - Three Randolph youths attending 4-H Club Week at the University of Nebraska College of Agriculture this week are John Nordhues, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Nordhues, a representative from Cedar County; Donald Brodersen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Brodersen, representative from Pierce County; Merle Rudebusch, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rudebusch, representative from Wayne County. They are listed as county 4-H champions.

RANDOLPH - Twenty St. Frances High School seniors will receive diplomas at the high school commencement exercises Sunday evening at St. Frances Church. Betty Gubbels is valedictorian and Carole Closter is salutatorian.

RANDOLPH - Graduation activities for 15 Randolph High School seniors will begin May 21 with Baccalaureate services at the city auditorium. Valedictorian, Sharolyn Hansen and salutatorian, Margery Ann Stevens, will give addresses at the commencement.
