Work will begin on US-20, from Laurel to N-116

NORFOLK — Weather permitting, work will begin June 1 on U.S. Highway 20 (US-20), from Laurel to Nebraska Highway 116 (N-116), from reference post 391.33 to reference post 399.15, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Constructors Inc., of Lincoln, is the contractor for this project. Work includes concrete patching, bridge replacement, bridge repair and asphalt pavement. Traffic will be maintained with temporary traffic signals and flaggers. Anticipated completion is late spring 2027.

Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and put phones down.
