Hartington Community Complex will feature some of the area’s best athletes

HARTINGTON — Some of the best athletes in Northeast Nebraska will be displaying their talents Wednesday and Thursday at the Hartington Community Complex.

The Hartington facility will play host to both the Class C and Class D District track meets this week.

The Class D meet will be held on Wednesday, May 13. The Class C meet will take place the next day. Wausa High School is hosting the Class D3 meet. Hartington-Newcastle will host the Class C4 District meet.

Wednesday’s meet will include teams from: Wausa, Wynot, Randolph, Archangels Catholic, Bancroft-Rosalie, GACC, Howells-Dodge, Lyons-Decatur, Osmond, Scribner-Snyder, Walthill and Winside. Thursday’s meet will feature teams from: Cedar Catholic, Hartington-Newcastle, Homer, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Omaha Nation, Pender, Ponca, Tri County Northeast, Wakefield and Winnebago.
