EMS hosts community blood drive

LAUREL – Some lessons can't be learned in a classroom - they have to be lived. This May, as we celebrate graduations across the region and the lifelong value of community education, the Laurel community delivered one of the most important lessons of all: showing up for others. At the most recent Laurel Community Blood Drive, 20 units of blood were collected from 17 generous donors - enough to help up to 60 patients in local hospitals.
