NORFOLK - The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge golf team traveled to Norfolk April 23 for the Lutheran High Northeast Invitational played at Fairplay Golf Course.
The Bears posted a 349 for a team score which put them seventh in the 17-team tournament.
Norfolk Catholic shot a 310 to take the team title with Creighton second after firing a 318 as a team. The hosts were third at 324.
Landon Uthof of Ponca was the individual medalist after carding a 72, Cole Lawless of Lutheran High was next at 73 and won a scorecard playoff with Will Brockhaus of Norfolk Catholic who also came in with a 73.
Talon Carson paced LCC bringing home an 84, James Recob shot an 88, Tanner Thmpson an 89 and Parker Hoeppner shot 91.
The Bears were set to head north to Hartington for the Hartington-Newcastle Invitational on April 28 and will travel to Plainview May 2 for the Pierce Invitational then head west to Atkinson for the GNAC tournament hosted by West Holt on May 5.
