O’NEILL - The Cedar Catholic golf team headed west for the O’Neill Invitational on April 23 and came back home with the secondplace trophy while each player finished in the top 15 of the tournament to post a round of 311.
O’Neill won the team title after carding a 303 and Ord was third after shooting a 332.
James Eby of O’Neill was the individual medalist with a 74 but Cedar Catholic’s Landyn Keiser was right on his heels with a 75.
Toby Heine fired a 78 to place ninth, Memphis Ulrich came in with a 79 for 11th, Mav Heine fired a 79 also for 13th and Langston Christensen fired an 81 for 15th.
The Trojans hosted their annual invitational on Tuesday before hosting a triangular on April 30.
Cedar Catholic will travel to Plainview for the Pierce Invitational on May 2 then head to the Mid State Golf Tournament on May 5 at a familiar course — the Wayne Country Club.
