Evie Freeman, Cedar Catholic’s first state girls champion wrestler, finished the Twin River National Duals Tournament with a 5-3 record to become an AAU All American.
Coaches said her final day was not perfect, but Freeman wrestled tough through it all.
Her Nebraska All Star team competed with some of the best in the country and finished in sixth place as a team. Freeman even picked up a victory against a Missouri state champion.
