Spring 2026 juried art show opens April 29 at Wayne State

April 18, 2026 (WAYNE, Neb.) – Wayne State College’s Spring 2026 Juried Art Show opens at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located on the main level of U.S. Conn Library. The opening reception is free and open to the public, and the exhibit will remain on display throughout the summer.

Preceding the show, students from Wayne State’s Department of Art and Design submitted original artwork for exhibit consideration. Pieces were judged and selected for display by Sophie Isaak, assistant professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The gallery is open Monday-Thursda, 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday 3-7 p.m. It is closed Saturday. Shows end at noon on closing day.
