UNL crop system research prioritizes crop farmers’ needs

LINCOLN — Growing up in Kwapong, a farming community in Ghana’s Ahafo region, and attending university in Ghana helped Benjamin Karikaridevelop an appreciation for agriculture and sustainable food systems. He earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Cape Coast in 2008 and a master’s degree in agronomy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2014.
