Three new teachers hired by HNS School Board

HARTINGTON — The Hartington- Newcastle School Board agreed Monday to hire two new elementary school teachers and an instrumental music teacher.

Supt. A.J. Johnson told the board Ainsley Nelson, a 2025 Black Hills State University graduate, will be the new instrumental music instructor. She is currently working as a long term substitute teacher in Rapid City.

Sydney Jelinek, who will graduate in May from Concordia in Seward, is being hired to teach in the elementary school.

Meghan Kratzer, who has been teaching for three years at Ansley Nebraska, will also teach elementary school next year at HNS.
