On to Nationals
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge sophomore student Madyson Campbell competed at the Nebraska State Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Conference in Lincoln on March 30 and received the third of three gold medals awarded for her Star Project, “Focus on Children” and will be competing at the National FCCLA Conference in Washington D.C. July 6-10. Campbell’s Star project involved teaching Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School kindergarten students about MyPlate. The students had to cut out food pictures and place them correctly in each of the food categories on their plate.
