Feb. 12: Medical alarm service calls to report the medical alert for a Randolph woman went off and they are unable to contact her.
Yankton law enforcement calls to report they received a call from a man in Cedar County that says he is suicidal. He has a rifle and a pistol with him.
Feb. 13: Hartington woman calls to share her concerns. “Last night I was home washing my dishes and the next thing I know there is an officer shining a light through my door.
Scared the crap out of me.
The officer didn’t knock or anything.”
Man calls to say he was assaulted on the bridge.
Man called to ask what time the treasurer’s office closes. He was given their phone number.
Woman calls with concerns about relatives taking things without permission from her late mother’s house.

Feb. 14: Wynot Fire Department called to report they issued a burn permit to Kenny Wieseler for a controlled bum.
Crofton Fire Department called to report a burn permit.
Woman called concerned that she was cleaning a gas stove, but couldn’t get the gas off, now. Dispatcher advised how she might be able to do it.
Man reports he was assaulted while on the south side of Meridian Bridge.

Medic alert calls for rural Hartington man.
Dispatcher tries to contact.
When there is no response, the ambulance is paged out. Ambulance is canceled when its discovered the man accidentally dropped his alert device in the kitchen sink.
Woman calls to report an injured deer just off the road five miles south of Hartington on Hwy. 57.
Feb. 15: Man calls to inquire about people goose hunting just off of his property.
A 911 call comes in.
Dispatcher calls the number back and was told it was a pocket dial.
Man calls to report a concern about a child custody situation. He is advised he might want to contact a lawyer. After speaking with a deputy, the dispatcher called back to give the man a few more options.
Belden resident calls to tell law enforcement that a truck with no license plates parked near his property.
The truck has two intoxicated people in it.
Feb. 16: Hartington ambulance paged out for elderly man who slipped and fell.
Woman calls to ask if anyone reported a missing dog. They haven’t seen their dog in a few days.
Hartington medical clinic asks law enforcement to perform a welfare check on a patient they haven’t seen and not able to reach.
Law enforcement made contact with the person.
Her phone is not working.
St. Helena area man calls to request assistance.
He fell at his house and now he can’t get up.
Crofton area woman calls for an ambulance for a person that was charged by a bull.
Wynot Fire Dept, issues a burn permit for Kyle Wiepen.
Man calls to see if there is anything law enforcement can do to help him.
'I have an ex-friend that spray painted my name and complete phone number with the word ‘Rapist.’ I’ve had about six calls from people that have seen it.”
Man calls to see if an officer can drive by a couple of times each night. A man keeps driving by with a loud vehicle.
Feb. 17: Man reported a two vehicle accident between a car and a semi truck on Highway 81 near the Menominee turn.
Man calls to share concern about a truck that is continuing to ‘blow through’ a stop sign onto the highway. He is afraid someone will get hurt.
Woman calls to tell law enforcement there is a vehicle in the ditch just off of the Bow Valley Expressway.
Woman calls to report she is seeing a fire just off to the east of Highway 81 a couple of miles south of Yankton. Fordyce and Crofton fire departments are paged out.
Feb. 18: Hartington man calls with concerns about an animal in town he feels might has rabies.
“A raccoon has been circling the neighbor’s house. I think it might have rabies. He seems lost and not right. With kids going to be walking by here to school pretty soon, I don’t want to see anyone get hurt.”
