Three Cardinal golfers bring experience

RANDOLPH - Cardinal head golf coach Cory Simpson welcomed three returning letterwinners to practice this spring along with three additional players vying for spots on the varsity.

Ryan Engel, Bentley Reimers and Tate Broderson are back for the 2026 campaign which should give the Cards a leg up when competition begins.

Talyn Meyer, Bentley Bonczynski and Josh Miller are new to the team and will help to fill out the varsity roster.

The Redbirds will open play at the Plainview Invitational on April, 11 then travel to Creighton for a triangular on April, 14 and on to the Laurel- Concord-Coleridge Invite on April, 16.

The Osmond Invitational is set for April, 25 at Rolling Hills Golf Club, a triangular at Hartington-Newcastle and the Hartington-Newcastle Invite will close out the month of April.

May will find the Cards at the Pierce Invitational on May 2, a meet with Wausa/Bloomfield on May, 4 and the Stanton Invitational is slated for May 8.

Randolph will host its own invite on May 11 then close out the regular season at Highland Oaks Golf Club in Ponca.

The Cardinals will play in the D-2 District Golf Meet on May 18 at Indian Trails Country Club just outside of Beemer and the top three teams and top 10 individuals will move on to the Class D Nebraska Golf Championships set for May 27-28 at Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus.
