RANDOLPH — Three members of coach Cory Simpson’s Cardinal basketball squad and one member of Marcus Paupenhausen’s Lady Cardinals were named to the Lewis & Clark All-Conference Teams by the conference coaches recently.
Logan Lienemann was named to the all-conference first team while Ryan Engel and Luke Harder were tabbed honorable mention.
Abbey Backer was the lone Lady Cardinal listed after being placed on the honorable mention list.
Lienemann was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Cards for the past two seasons and averaged just under 16 points per game during his senior campaign.
He also yanked down six rebounds per contest and handed out a couple of assists each night he stepped on the floor.
Lienemann was joined on the first team by Devin Brummer of Wynot, Beau Eisenhauer of Bloomfield, Matthew Schindler of Wausa and Keesan Laaihue of Walthill.
Engel scored 8.8 points per game for the Cardinals and handed out 4.6 assists per game while Harder averaged 7.3 points per game and grabbed just under six missed shots per contest.
Wynot and Bloomfield placed the most players on the girls’ teams with the Queen Bees placing two on the first team, one on the third team and one honorable mention.
Wynot had one on the first team, one on the second team, one on the third team and two on the honorable mention list.
Backer averaged 11.2 points per game in her sophomore season and pulled in 5.2 rebounds per night.
