ALBION — Four Cedar Catholic basketball players earned mention in the Mid State Conference all-conference and honorable mention lists as voted on by the conference coaches recently.
Anisten Wortmann was the lone athlete to be named to the all-conference first team, teammate Addison Walter was listed as an honorable mention recipient.
Mason Baller and Aaron Wortmann were both tabbed honorable mention by the Mid State coaches.
Anisten Wortmann was joined on the first team by Addy Hedlund of Boone Central, Jaisie Janssen of Crofton, Charlie Dinslage and Bailey Gerths of Guardian Angels Central Catholic, Sidonia Wattier of Norfolk Catholic, Hannah Hilker of O’Neill, Abbie Cone of Pierce, Elsie Keller of Ponca and Haley Kramer of Wayne.
She averaged 14.6 points per game during her junior season, 5.3 rebounds and swiped just under two steals per contest.
Walter averaged 13.9 points per game and 6.6 rebounds this past season.
Aaron Wortmann and Baller are both seniors.
Baller averaged 12.9 points per game his senior campaign. 2.6 assists and just over four rebounds.
Wortmann averaged just under nine points and three rebounds for the Trojans this past season.
