JOHNSTON, Iowa — The mission of LifeServe Blood Center is simple: to save local lives. That mission wouldn’t be possible without the hard work and dedication of our blood donors, sta members, and volunteers.
Our volunteers are behind every lifesaving donation. They help with everything from transporting blood to hospitals around our region to making sure our donor centers are stocked with necessary supplies.
April is Volunteer Appreciation Month. This month, show people can show their gratitude to the volunteers who keep our work going and help make sure local patients have the blood products they need. The best way to say thank you? Keep them busy saving lives by making a blood donation.
